As a Church, we are more than a building used for celebration; we are a community of faith that provides support and nurture in the Christian life.
The parish of St Aidan, London, is a community of Christian people who, in response to the love of God, regularly gather around the Lord's Table to share in the Word of God and the Bread of Life, and daily serve others in Christ's name.
• We love God by announcing the Good News of what God has done in Jesus and by living together as a sign of that Good News for the world.
• We love God by worshiping in ways that help people welcome God's transforming presence and respond with praise and thanksgiving.
• We love God with all our heart, mind, and strength… welcoming the Holy Spirit into our lives, we are drawn more deeply into the discipleship of Jesus Christ, in order to be stewards of his grace.
• We love God by serving those in need, both locally and universally, through ministries of mercy, compassion, and justice.
In February 2013, the parishes of St. Aidan's Anglican Church and the Church of the Hosannas came together to establish a new wider-reaching Anglican community in Northwest London, heading multiple outreach efforts, including The Silver Saints Ministry.
We are proud to celebrate 125 years of collective history.
As you browse these pages we hope that you will find some of the ways we try to "live" these things. We pray that you will join us, and in doing so, that you will find what you’re looking for… and that God will bless you.
