Bakers wanted
We are offering an exciting new opportunity to serve. Through a friend of the parish and the people of Impact Church, we will deliver 70 bags of baked goods a month to those living in our streets. We are calling this endeavour “Les Boulangers de Saint-Honoré.” In English, St Honore’s Bakers.
We would need our bakers to prepare 24-48 muffins. Volunteers are to bake (not buy) 24 cupcake size muffins or 24 homemade cookies or 24 slices of Banana Bread. Baked goods are dropped off at the church office the last Sunday of each month. There are no dietary restrictions for the muffins: nuts, fruit, eggs, milk, etc. are all allowed. Reminder emails are sent one week in advance. This is a great opportunity for community service hours for teens, and a very easy way to get younger children involved in helping to feed the homeless.
